The National Sanskrit University (NSU), formerly known as Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, is a premier institution in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, offering a blend of classical and modern courses primarily centred on Sanskrit and allied disciplines.
Admissions
- Undergraduate (UG): Courses like B.A. (Shastri) and B.Sc. (Shastri) are available. Admission is based on CUET-UG scores and other university-specific requirements.
- Postgraduate (PG): Programs such as M.A. (Acharya), M.Sc., M.Ed. (Shiksha-Shastri), and PG Diplomas. Entry is merit-based, with certain courses requiring entrance exams.
- Research Programs: M.Phil. and Ph.D. candidates need to pass the Combined Vidya Varidhi Entrance Test (CVVET). Applicants with NET, JRF, or equivalent qualifications may be exempt from certain requirements.
- Application Fees: ₹1,000 for most courses, submitted online.

- Diploma Programs: ₹350 (first-year fee).
- UG Courses: Around ₹4,500 to ₹5,000 per year.
- PG Courses: ₹6,000 per year for M.Ed. and other programs.
